Ink, Shadows, and Thorned Paths

As I approach graduation in November, it’s an exciting and busy time for me. With my schoolwork now behind me, I’ve finally had the chance to shift my full focus onto my writing projects. It’s been a productive few months, and I’m thrilled to share some updates on what’s been happening, along with a sneak peek at what’s to come.

ShadowRise: Expanding the Phantom Society

Let’s start with ShadowRise, the novel that’s been on my mind for a while. I’m excited to confirm that this book will be between 300-500 pages when finished. One of the main aspects of the story revolves around the complex relationships within The Phantom Society, a mysterious and powerful organization. The dynamics between these characters are at the core of ShadowRise, and they drive much of the conflict and tension in the story.

I’ve always believed that the characters’ relationships should be just as impactful as the external plot, and in ShadowRise, these connections run deep. Every alliance, every betrayal, every moment of trust or doubt adds a new layer to the narrative. So far, within the first six chapters, three people have already been killed, and let me tell you, that’s just the beginning. I have plenty more twists and turns planned, with many more lives on the line as the story progresses.

While the book is dark, it’s also a project that I’ve poured a lot of passion into. Crafting the intricate web of relationships within The Phantom Society, while balancing the high stakes and constant tension, has been challenging but rewarding. I think fans of thrillers and character-driven stories will find something special in ShadowRise.

Ink Stains: Enter the Mind of Vigilantism

While ShadowRise has been the primary project, I’ve also been quietly working on another book, Ink Stains. This is something I haven’t spoken about too much, but it’s a psychological thriller that delves deep into the dark side of vigilantism in America.

Ink Stains is set in the same universe as Fireshade, which opens up the possibility of crossovers between these two worlds. While I can’t share too much of the plot just yet, I can tell you that this novel will be intense. It will be gritty, vulgar, and unapologetically raw. I don’t shy away from the darker aspects of human nature, and Ink Stains dives straight into them. Vigilantism is a murky moral ground, and this book explores the psychological toll it takes on those who walk that path.

Ink Stains is shaping up to be a heavy read. The themes are dark, the actions of the characters are often brutal, and the lines between right and wrong are blurred beyond recognition. It’s a project that I’m both excited and a little apprehensive about sharing with the world because of how deep it goes. But if you’re into thrillers that challenge your perception and make you think long after you’ve turned the last page, this one’s for you.

If I keep up with my current pace, both ShadowRise and Ink Stains should be ready for release before the new year. It’s been a balancing act, working on two very different but equally ambitious projects at the same time, but I’m confident they’ll be worth the wait.

RoseThorn: Bringing the Story to Life on Screen

Beyond the novels, I’ve also been dedicating more time to RoseThorn, my TV series. It’s been an interesting process because, unlike my novels, the series has turned out to be even more in-depth than I originally planned. Normally, it’s the other way around—usually, the book holds more detail, and the screen adaptation tends to streamline the story. But with RoseThorn, I’ve found that the series format allows me to explore the characters, their motivations, and the world they inhabit in much greater detail.

I’m currently planning for the first season to have somewhere between 8 and 12 episodes. Each episode digs deeper into the storylines and character arcs, allowing me to flesh out elements that didn’t quite fit into the novel. It’s been a thrilling experience, watching the world of RoseThorn expand in ways I didn’t originally anticipate. The series format gives me a lot of creative freedom, and I’m really excited to see how it will all come together.

I’m trying to take my time with RoseThorn to make sure it’s exactly how I envision it. At the same time, I’m balancing this with getting everything else ready before college. It’s a fine line between rushing and procrastinating, but I want to ensure that everything I release this year is up to my standards.

Creative Milestones: Recognizing the Journey

On a more personal note, I recently won a creative writing award from my high school, which has been a huge honor. Writing has always been my passion, but receiving recognition for it makes all the long hours and late nights feel worthwhile. On top of that, I have another award coming from my county commissioner, which is equally exciting. These awards are a reminder that even though the journey of writing is often solitary, the stories we create have the power to reach and resonate with others.

It’s moments like these that push me to keep going, to write the next chapter, to develop the next scene, and to finish the next book. I’m truly grateful for the support I’ve received so far, and I can’t wait to share everything I’ve been working on with you all in the upcoming months.

Looking Forward: What’s Next?

As I head toward the end of the year, I have big plans in place. Between the release of ShadowRise and Ink Stains, and the continued development of RoseThorn, it’s going to be a whirlwind of creativity. I’m doing my best not to rush through anything, but I also want to make sure that I stay on track and deliver projects that meet my vision.

If there’s one thing I’ve learned through all of this, it’s that creativity doesn’t follow a set schedule. It flows when it’s ready, and it often takes you down unexpected paths. But whether it’s the darker world of vigilantism in Ink Stains, the intense relationships in ShadowRise, or the rich depth of RoseThorn, I’m excited for what’s ahead.

Thank you all for your continued support, and I hope you’re ready for the madness I’m about to unleash. This year has been one of growth, change, and a whole lot of writing—and the best is yet to come.
