First off, I want to apologize for being a bit quiet lately, but trust me, it's all for good reason. I've been pouring every ounce of creativity into my latest project—The Inked Reaper. It’s safe to say that this book has completely taken over my life, and I’m officially about 1/6th of the way through the first draft. If all goes to plan, you can expect the book to hit shelves by December!
Now, a fair warning for those planning to pick up a copy: The Inked Reaper is not for the faint of heart. It's gory, gruesome, vulgar, and downright insane at times. For those unfamiliar with the story, it follows 18-year-old Tyler Grayson. On the surface, Tyler seems like any other successful young author, living his life of fame to the fullest. But behind the scenes, he's a cold-blooded serial killer with a very particular moral code. He targets rapists, murderers, and gang members—basically, anyone who’s slipped through the fingers of his father, William Grayson, the lead detective at the local police department.
Though the story is packed with action, brutality, and darkness, there's also a slow-burn romance between Tyler and his girlfriend, Emily. It's a small part of the story, but it's there, simmering under the surface, adding another layer of complexity to Tyler's life.
For those worried about the intense nature of the content, I’ve included a disclaimer at the start of the book. I don’t shy away from graphic details, and within the first 100 pages, there’s already a lengthy chapter that goes deep into the dismemberment of one of Tyler’s victims. It’s honestly peak fiction in my opinion, and I absolutely cannot wait to share it with the world.
I’ve set a personal goal to sell at least 100 copies within the first month of release. Most of the money from those sales will go toward production costs for the upcoming TV show adaptation, Ink Stains. I’ll make an official announcement once we’re closer to launch, and there’ll even be a countdown on the website, so you can stay updated.
In addition, I’m planning to release three different versions of The Inked Reaper, each with its own unique cover. One of those versions will be extremely limited, with only 25 copies available. This book is by far the longest, most twisted thing I’ve written to date, and I am beyond excited to get it into your hands. Oh, and keep an eye out—some TikTok reviewers will be getting pre-release copies, so you might see some buzz about it soon!
